One of the country’s most lauded food and wine events, the San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival, will return for it’s 17th year next month. Four days of exclusive lunches and dinners, expeditions spanning across international borders, chef-led panels and cooking demos, and late-night parties await, with a much anticipated grand tasting on the iconic San Diego Harbor.

Year after year, the San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival is among the city’s most anticipated events. Named the winner of the 2019 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Award for Best General Food Festival, the event has tagged its epic post-pandemic return as “Arrive at Awesome.”

“The return of the San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival will allow locals and visitors alike the chance to reemerge from the dormancy of the past year and into the sights, smells and sounds that can only be associated with this event,” said Festival Producer Michelle Metter. “It’s everything we know and love about this event, but made that much more special given the lapse of time and our ability to be together. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to San Diego.”

Metter and company are producing a myriad of indulgent experiences, from the iconic grand tasting to a ‘Taco TKO’ event that crown’s the city’s best taco, to a day-long escapade through Baja California, Mexico.

A star-studded lineup of celebrity chefs, winemakers, brewmasters, mixologists and restaurateurs are set to lead a remarkable itinerary centered around all things food and drink:

  1. Brian Malarkey, Herb and Wood
  2. Aron and Pam Schwartz, Ranch 45
  3. Dallas Juanes and Ronnie Schwandt, Verbana Kitchen
  4. Esteban Lluis, Damiana Restaurant Valle de Guadalupe
  5. George Blanckensee, Chateau Montelena
