Inventive cocktails perfectly tow the line of creativity and taste, and go quite well with equally inviting gastropub fare.


Founder Nick Apostolopoulos, a former software architect and long-time spirits aficionado, recognized that San Diego needed its own super-premium handcrafted vodka. He launched Six One Nine vodka in 2012 with this mission in mind, and continues to pour the same care and attention to detail into his distillery and restaurant.

Our family came to the US from Bulgaria more than 20 years ago. We got our start in the coffee business (you'll definitely get a sense of that if you try one of our divine coffees), and opened Figaro Dessert Cafe in 2015. We've been serving the community ever since with phenomenal desserts for all occasions, from impulse indulgences to weddings and parties.

Choosing Your Tour Date, Time and Group Size 

To book this curated tour, first select your desired Tour Date on the calendar. You'll then be prompted to select the Time Slot displayed, which lists the arrival windows for each restaurant. You will be able to visit each place in any order, at any valid time. For example, if you see 'Restaurant ABC: 11a - 6p, 8 - 10p  |  Restaurant XYZ: 12 - 9p,' you can arrive at at Restaurant ABC anytime from 11am - 6pm or 8 - 10pm, and you can arrive at Restaurant XYZ anytime from 12 - 9pm.


If your desired tour date is not available, the restaurants are either closed or do not accept TastePro bookings on that day. If this happens, please choose a different tour date or select a different restaurant. 


Restaurants will not accept TastePro bookings outside the date listed on your booking confirmation. If you arrive outside the time window listed on your booking confirmation, the restaurant has full discretion in whether to seat you. If they are unable to seat you, you can request your tasting menu to-go. Please refer to our refund policy for more details. 


TastePro bookings are only valid for the number of people listed on your booking confirmation. If you show up with more people than you paid for, your group will not be served until the additional guests book on TastePro. To do this, simply book this same tour for the same date. You'll receive a separate booking confirmation for these additional guests.  



Drink Pairings

Most restaurants offer an optional drink pairing to enhance the dining experience, often at a significant discount if pre-ordered on TastePro. Drink pre-orders are available in the booking box, where you select your tour date, time and group size. Choose the drink option(s) that best suit you, and the price will be added automatically. Drink pairing options listed on each tasting menu are not included with the base price. 


If not everyone in your group wishes to pre-order drinks, or if people want to add drinks at different places, we recommend making separate bookings. For example, in a group of 4 where two people want drinks at all stops, one person wants drinks at just two stops, and one person doesn't want any drinks, three bookings would have to be made for the same tour: the first for two people, where drinks are added everywhere; the second for one person, where drinks are added at two places; and the third for one person, where no drinks are added. 


When making separate bookings for the same tour, make sure that the tour dates match and that the group size adds up to everyone in your party. You will receive separate confirmations for each of these bookings.


Anyone who consumes alcoholic beverages must have a valid ID proving they are of legal drinking age. No refunds will be issued for people who purchase drink pairings and are unable to present valid ID. Please drink responsibly.



Why do some tours have time windows that exclude peak meal times?

Restaurants want to provide the best experience for each of their guests. If a restaurant is routinely full during peak meal periods, they will likely choose not to accept TastePro bookings during those windows, in order to best control crowds and wait times. Most standard food tours take place during non-peak hours for the same reason. 


If a restaurant is available during meal peak hours and you visit at those times, you may be required to wait for a table. TastePro is not responsible for guests missing arrival windows due to unexpected wait times. If you are concerned about wait times, we recommend taking your tour during non-peak hours or requesting your tasting menu selections as a to-go order.


Please also note that restaurant availability is displayed in the restaurant's local time. Plan accordingly if you are booking from a different time zone. 



Can I make substitutions or order additional items? 

The restaurant has full discretion on the extent to which substitutions are allowed. If you don’t like the options listed on a tasting menu, we recommend booking a different restaurant. 


Most restaurants will allow TastePro guests to order additional items from the standard menu during their tour. Please note that you are responsible for payment, tax and tip for any additional items not included in your tasting menu.
